Trip Zagora, via the nomadvillage M’hamid to Erg Chegaga, Discover the enchanting beauty of Morocco with our Sahara Desert Tours.

Day 1 : Zagora, via the nomadvillage M’hamid to Erg Chegaga

We meet you at your hotel in Zagora and start the trip. We go “The gate to Sahara” and to the nomadvillage M’hamid. Then we continue into desert with 4×4 crossing hammada, dunes and oasis before ending at Erg Chegaga, the high dunes. Chegaga is the largest group of dunes in the region reaching a height of 300 m. After a good lunch you can enjoy sandboarding, cameltrekking and the fantastic sunset from the dunes.
When the evening comes there will be dinner and local song and music before it is time to go to sleep in nomad tents in the bivouac.

Day 2 : Erg Chegaga and back to Zagora

After an amacing sunrise in the dunes you will be served breakfast in the open space in the bivouac or in restaurant tent. After this last morning experience the desert there is time to return – crossing desert to Mhamid where we take a break. Then continue back to Zagora and on the way we will stop at the old pottery in Tamegrout where they produce pottery the traditional way.
We arrives Zagora late lunchtime.
