Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora Desert

Departure: 8:00 AM from Marrakech

Your first stop is the historic Kasbah Telouet, once the stronghold of the Glaoui family. Continuing through the stunning Ounila Valley, you’ll arrive at the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a backdrop for Hollywood movies like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.

After lunch in Ait Ben Haddou, you’ll pass through Ouarzazate, then travel south via the Tizi-n-Tinfifte Pass toward Zagora, where the palm groves of the Dra’a Valley begin.
