2 DAY TOURS FROM MARRAKECH TO DESERT

1st day: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – BIVOUAC Zagora

Departing early in the morning, we will cross the High Atlas and reach the Tizi N’Tichka pass, 2260 meters high. Continuation to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, we will visit this wonderful Ksar which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Several films are shot in this setting: the mommy, Gladiator, Seven years in Tibet, Babel… After lunch in front of the Ksar, continue to Zagora along the Draâ Valley, an almost uninterrupted oasis… 5 km after Zagora, hike to dromedary back of about 1 hour, in an exceptional natural environment, where the air is so pure, that the sight and the sounds carry for hundreds of kilometers, where there is a silence that nothing disturbs, where the we could hear ourselves thinking… We will attend the sunset, dinner and night in Zagora.

2nd day: Zagora – The Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After breakfast, discovery of the palm grove and its population, a rich and diversified cultural heritage…lunch in Ouarzazate and orientation visit of the city (Kasbah of Taourirt and Cinema Studios) then return to Marrakech via the pass of Tichka.
