2-Day Zagora Desert Camel Trek Itinerary:

DAY 1: Zagora ❯ Tizi

Our 2-day, 1-night Camel Trek from Zagora begins in the morning around 9 am near Zagora. The camels will be loaded with food, blankets, and all the essentials for our journey. We’ll venture into the desert for approximately 2 hours before stopping for lunch under the shade of beautiful desert trees. After the meal, we’ll continue walking for about two more hours until we reach Erg Nkhila Dunes, where we’ll set up a well-equipped camp with traditional drums music in the heart of the Sahara. This is a fantastic opportunity to capture stunning photos of the desert landscape illuminated by the golden sunlight. As we arrive at the camp, we’ll head to the dunes to witness a mesmerizing sunset. The night will be truly magical, with clear skies revealing a canopy of stars. We’ll enjoy a delightful dinner around a campfire and spend the night in tents.

DAY 2: Tizi ❯ Zagora

On the second day, after breakfast and guided by the nomads, we’ll gradually make our way back. We’ll follow the caravan route along the Draa Valley oasis before returning to Zagora, arriving around 10:30 am.
