DAY 1: Zagora ❯ Nkhila
Our expedition commences in Zagora in the early afternoon as we embark on a camel trek towards the Sahara Desert. Over the course of 1 hour and 15 minutes, we traverse the breathtaking landscapes of Draa Oasis. Just before evening descends, we reach our campsite, where you can witness the breathtaking sunset painting the sand dunes with vibrant hues. An enchanting night under a starry sky awaits us, accompanied by a traditional Berber evening meal comprising soup, salad, tagine, or couscous, complemented by refreshing mint tea. We’ll also savor some local music around a cozy campfire.
DAY 2: Nkhila ❯ Zagora
After a peaceful night beneath the starlit desert sky, you’ll wake up at dawn to witness a mesmerizing sunrise over the sand dunes—an unforgettable sight. Following this natural spectacle, savor a hearty breakfast and enjoy a refreshing shower. Then, hop onto your trusty camel for the journey back to Zagora, with an estimated arrival between 9:30 and 10 am.
